The Nether Kingdom

The Nether Kingdom can be easily defined as one of solid manifestation, yet it is only the farthest extension of the so called denser expressions. Flowing below the signature aspects of Tiferet/Balance is where the line is drawn in cosmic orders, such that the lower divine ethereal forms are then divided from the substantial solid forms. This will be explained more in Sacred Geometry, as Tiferet can be related to a ‘cosmic mirror’ that resides far below the realm of the Da’at that is more the dividing line between the Upper Heaven (singular) and Lower Heavens (plural). For now, try to grasp the concept of forces being set within their own Fellowships, and physical Man is the solitary physical form that is constant in its physicality. Angels may manifest into this realm and return to their own dimensions, where physical Man cannot. For to be ‘absent in the body is to be with the Lord’, a scriptural phrase that defines the Borderland of what is the point of absolute division for Flesh; that being the essence of Malkut itself, the Divine Kingdom.

The lower aspects of the angelic realms are given to functions that allow trespass into the realm of physical Man. This is a two sided coin though, as these angelic beings are drawn in both virtuous and malevolent ideals, thus mankind is offset between Powers and Principalities that speak in a spiritual language that registers in the conscious and subconscious mind, affecting both the physical brain of the body and the spiritual intellect of the Soul. Why is it then that these forces can enter and return and physical man cannot? As the angelic realm is dimensionally higher it can in essence reduce itself into manifestations that are lower, as with musical intonation falling and rising in register, but their divine or cosmic signatures are obviously not bound by dimensional migration. On the other hand, Man is a spirit entity that is pre-registered in harmonic signatures that are bound in dimensions that disallow physical transfer from dimension to dimension. There are no dimensional ‘gates’ that respect the Flesh. This somewhat reinforces the concept that only the Soul is capable of breaking through the Borderlands and actually experiencing certain other dimensional states, primarily through meditations or prayers. Meditation allows personal, spiritual experiences to be encountered and acknowledged, as Prayer allows communication that ‘calls upon’ forces in the beyond to intervene or assist in ways that physicality would otherwise ignore, thus changing the perceptions or activities of this world.

We can take this concept through several steps. One condition is that Man is ‘predetermined’ in the Kingdom assigned to him, and thus, the Nether or posterior worlds are distinctly unique and designed to fulfill a single purpose, allowing Flesh to manifest in one if not many diverse systems and projections. By this premise, all preceding divine aspects serve the end result, and Angels are part of that arrangement, bearing a direct covenant with Man from divine sources. Another condition states that the Nether Realm is the furthest state of creation that it can attain, and there are no dimensional limits beyond it – it is the edge – and thus, physicality is ignored by all preceding dimensions as having viable transference to higher signatures. In this case, our three dimensional presence is the lowest dimensional gate. It is our ‘flatland’ that can not rise or pass into dimensions that are seemingly less dense, such that the first through fifth dimensions are not the ‘roots’ of physics – they are the leaves – and any dimension above this, by relative number of six or more, are actually not rising signatures, so to speak, they are falling signatures that envelope the higher states, even though we view them as being encased in the lesser states.

By definition dimensions fold inward at 90O of the previous dimension. What we view geometrically as ‘hypo-cubes’, the realms up to the square remain in a ‘flatland’ until it rises out of the surface and becomes ballooned in spatial signatures; thus, the Cube. Hyper-Cubes then form from these hypo- states and begin to ‘envelope’ one another as they fold ‘inward’ from the previous dimensional state. Still, they may only appear to fold ‘inward’, as such, that if flatland resides in the leaves of the cosmic ‘tree’ signature they may actually be more so drawn outward, as to rise into states that are far more dimensionally full than supposed. Thus, what lies ‘below’ must remain below and only that which is ‘above’ may extend into lesser, more dense states. All this said – the point is very much alive as a sphere, regardless of our ‘one’ dimensional view of it, as we are left with limited vision of it anyway in our cosmic Nether state and it is capable of containing every dimensional signature within its frame. Here we may being to realize that all of space, including that which lies within the physical body, can be expressed as the ‘fish in a fishbowl’, the sphere in another sphere; where the water and the fish are dimensionally overlapping in downward, or upward for that matter, states of existence. Still, that which is dynamically lesser than it predecessor can not reflect ‘backwards’ into higher states.

Now this probably sounds more complicated than it actually is. What this is saying in spiritual terms is that Man and Heaven, and every dimensional state that exists, are intertwined in every cosmic, spatial location. Therefore, the flesh body is a type of fishbowl, and the Soul is the fish, and Heaven(s) is the water, as it also interfaces fishbowl and water, and anything in the room where it resides. Now, in this view, not only is everything stacked on itself, it’s inside and outside of itself, simultaneously; expressed in harmonics, numbers and glyphs that humans have examined and attempted to understand since they could rationalize anything at all. Simply put, the point is a singularity that is a sphere, and the sphere is a collective ‘in-folding’ of singularities. The All is the One, and the One is Absolute; the One remains – One.

So, back to the previous forces mentioned earlier; Spirit, Soul, and Flesh/physicality. Each one of these is the direct ‘echo’ or signature of the previous, but in a lesser degree, totally dependent on the preceding state of being for its existence. Spirit is moving at speeds that are inexpressible and imperceptible. Soul is moving at speeds that are bound within the Spirit, such that it is an extension or ‘echo’ of Spirit. And we can say it exists in both supernal and less-than-supernal speeds, as non-locality expresses as well as nominal ‘light-speed; thus the Soul-Man is in the ‘likeness’, or reflection of it as he exists ‘within’ its signatures. Flesh is then moving at speeds that are definable and perceptible, but only because we share the same realm with it as Soul entities enveloped by it, otherwise, we would probably ignore this state of physical being entirely. Spirit is then moving at untold speeds and vibrations. Soul is moving at a conditional ‘light speed’ that can subsist in both supernal and nether states, as it has ‘fallen’ from one into the other. Flesh, on the other hand, is burning in the wake of everything, enduring the constant reflex of resonating external and internal energies that are both cosmic and dimensional. And as these signatures vibrate the Flesh pays a massive price. It ages and withers, along with everything else that is bound in physicality.

One could say that the Nether Realm is therefore a temporary state, and will be replaced, if not consumed by a dimensional state that is still unfolding in all its places; expressing its predecessors as it envelopes them, or vice versa. By this means, it is the ‘turning’ point at which the creative extension begins to recoil on itself; the expressive Klien Bottle effect. In some ways, Man is not rising or ascending at all; he’s being enveloped, cloaked and engulfed in divine cosmic signatures that have to ‘infold’ before they ‘unfold’. In similar terms then; insanity, disease, mutations, and the like, are actually the result of a Soul entity ‘burning’ out its vessel, or suffering from what I call Incarnative-Shock; a soulful subject, but for later. So, the enigmatic fish is outgrowing the Astral fishbowl – but first – the Cosmic fishbowl has to be shattered; a similar ‘shattering’ spoken of before in the act of Tikkune in the Kabbalic teachings.

Eden is described as being a particular landscape or area of the Earth, in a particular state of divine perfection. The Garden is perfect and the being in the Garden is perfect. The Garden of Eden is placed or ‘planted’ in the East (Gen. 1:8) – but – scripture makes no distinction as to the east of what, or where. It is somewhat a huge assumption then that this ‘garden’ is anywhere on Earth, as we know it, simply due to apparent geo-physical river names. Outside of certain ideals set by mystics, like Edgar Cayce, the Garden of Eden was a eastern locale, or territory of Atlantis; a mythical land, according to many scholars. Even at that rate, he placed its dating at some 10,700 years before the Prince of Peace, as The Christ. In the Hebrew, Eden translates as ‘pleasure’, a feminine term (5729: Strong’s Concordance) as a place in Mesopotamia that, in turn, is related to the place of Adam’s home, where the word becomes a masculine term (5731: Strong’s Concordance). The feminine is pronounced eh’den, while the masculine is pronounced ay’den. Both stem from the female form, a root term meaning ‘to live voluptuously’ where the term is said to be figurative, not descriptive. This translates more so as ‘Garden of Delight’, and not a physical place at all, but instead, an Ideal.

At the extreme edges of the Nether Kingdom, a bright shining realm is coursing through the creative wave; an area of chaotic and erratic manifestations that we call the cosmos, the Divine Waters of the physical; the band of astral light we call the Milky Way. In Job 37:14-24 we find several unique phrases. First, (v.17) the earth can be made ‘still’ by a south wind, that in the Hebrew translates as being ‘appointed’, ‘enduring at’, ‘established’, such as to be ’placed’. This then follows up with (v.18) the skies being spread out ‘hard as a molten mirror’. The Hebrew word for skies or ‘firmament’ implied an object that was beaten out like metal, hence the term ‘hard’. Then (v.20) the scripture mentions that ‘out of the north comes golden splendor’, such that it is out of the north that divine extension comes. Although these directions are figurative rather then distinct they define a position that is notable, such that from the north things enter ‘into’ this physical realm, placed across a ‘hard’ manifestation, the astral/cosmic heavens, and held in place by reaching the southern position, or ‘below’ the upper realm (the north) that it is drawn from. This then is Above/Without and Below/Within, as stated in the Hermetical Rule.

With this in mind, and hopefully without sounding too obtuse, the Garden is then a portion of the East, as the sun rises there, with the whole, as in the astral spaces, moves into the West, in the same manner that the Tribes are partitioned in Ezekiel 48. Notably, our own galaxy, the Milky Way, can be defined as having a cosmic axis north/south, and rotates counter-clockwise, with our own insignificant solar system at a medial distance (some 27.5 thousand light-years from Galactic Center) between the axial core and the outer rim of the galaxy. Interesting then, how the mechanics of this is defined – even by biblical metaphors – that the Eden could easily be the totality of this so called cosmic system; such that the Milky Way itself is the astral ‘garden’ of a cosmic ‘eden’, as a celestial Garden of Splendors. Originally then, the course of cycles set in biblical premise would have our earthly station in the eastern portion of the galaxy, in a cosmic ‘beginning’, and then, in a divine push, the heavens began to turn.

Thus, the Garden is ‘placed’ in the East, and Man is birthed therein, and thereof. The naming of the Four Rivers are then symbolic of the four major partitions of the galactic arms, running to a lateral sense of north, south, east and west. Yet the only river that is given a point of origin is the Tigris, the third river that flows east of Assyria. The other rivers are not defined except by the land they represent and their symbolic nature in the metals or gems that can be found there. If we are to relate this to anything, it can be done at the astral level, considering the whole of the Milky Way, or at the cosmic level, considering only our solar system or Earth. This speaks of astral elements being placed and cosmic order being set in a ‘foundation’ of physicality.

The first river, the Pishon, flows around the ‘whole land’ of Havilah, and has gold. Pishon (Strong’s: 6376) comes from a root word meaning ‘to spread’ or ‘act proudly’, to be ‘scattered’, is only mentioned once in scripture in the only land attributed with metals/gems. Havilah (Strong’s: 2341), is a land west of Ural, a name given to ‘two or three eastern regions’ thereof. The second river, the Gihon (Strong’s: 1521) is a river of ‘paradise’, and flows around the land of Cush. It comes from a root meaning to ‘gush forth’, to ‘come forth’, or ‘take out’, while Cush (Strong’s: 3568) is defined as Ethiopa. The third river, the Tigris, flows east of Assyria, and the fourth river is the Euphrates. Tigris is a form of Hiddekel (Strong’s: 2313), and again, is the only river given a direction of origin. The Euphrates (Strong’s: 6578) in turn means ‘to break forth’ as in ‘rushing’ from a source. As the rivers stand today, they can not be precisely mapped or stated to be anything like they were in the Day of Eden, outside of the scripture that states they flowed ‘out of’ Eden. If we relate the Eden to be similar to ‘earth’ (Strong’s: 776), meaning to ‘be firm’, common to ‘country’, ‘land’, ‘wasteland’ or ‘world’, then most assuredly, they flow ‘out of’ the earth. Still, the rivers have so many times been used in an attempt to place the garden itself, even by relating the word Eden to mean a geo-physical, earthly ‘valley’. And be that as it may, it remains a reflection of heaven on earth as each quarter of our world is divinely placed and “karmically” attached to specific partitions of the sky – a subject for another time.

As much of this is difficult to make any sense of one has to be careful of being too literal, or not enough so. Hebrew itself is a difficult language since it is given to so many symbolic and picturesque interpretations. Still, that may be a very good reason to relate its terms to something eccentric and bizarre. For me, the terms define something rather unique, as we have yet to get into the more esoteric Kabbalic relationships. At the moment, it appears that the Nether Kingdom(s) and the Eden have vast similarities, enough to say that they are both the same to some degree, as a partition or realm that is currently at the far reaches of the creative extension. What does this all have to do with the Human Soul and Reincarnation?

As mentioned before, the Soul is moving in dimensions that share common aspects and dimension with Spirit and Flesh, as the physical expression of the divine ‘echo’. In this way the Soul is an expression that is capable of great things, and has been cast in a Supernal ‘likeness’ that can no longer be associated to anything less than what it is; part of the God-Self, in a similar Trinity through the Christ Consciousness. This is the Super Consciousness, the Ego, and the Self Consciousness, or Id.

The Adam Kadmon, as the Christ Consciousness, as well as Angels and Man are all part of the same force, even as in Job 38:4-7, when the ‘morning stars sang together and ALL the heavenly beings shouted for joy’. In Proverbs 8:30-31, this expression is personified Wisdom ‘rejoicing’ over the ‘creative work’. Personified Wisdom is therefore what? It is the collective consciousness of God-Self, the Adam Kadmon, Angels, and Man. This has never made any of these forces an equal to a Superlative God, as they remain ‘reflections’ of the One Absolute God, sharing and extending the essence of forces one into the other setting a creative ‘order’ that is as external as it is internal.

Does the God-Self reincarnate then? Yes, as it Will through the activities of Man; for both are infinite. And thus, God is ever going for a ‘walk’ through a cosmically designed being called Man, that will someday, return to Divine Consciousness – an awakening that will change everything for us, as we are individually unified.

2] In Exodus 31:1-6, Bezalel (Hebrew: בְּצַלְאֵל, also transcribed as Betzalel and most accurately as B’tzalel), is the chief architect of the Tabernacle. Elsewhere in the Bible the name occurs only in the genealogical lists of the Book of Chronicles but, according to cuneiform inscriptions a variant form of the same, “Zil-Bêl,” was borne by a king of Gaza who was a contemporary of Hezekiah and Manasseh. Apparently it means “in the shadow [protection] of El.” Bezalel is described in the genealogical lists as the son of Uri (Exodus 31:1), the son of Hur, of the Tribe if Judah (I Chronicles 2:18, 19, 20, 50). He was said to be highly gifted as a workman, showing great skill and originality in engraving precious metals and stones and in wood-carving. He was also a master-workman, having many apprentices under him whom he instructed in the arts (Exodus 35:30-35). According to the narrative in Exodus, he was definitely called and endowed to direct the construction of the tent of meeting and its sacred furniture, and also to prepare the priests’ garments and the oil and incense required for the service. 3] Klien Bottle: In mathematics the Klein Bottle is a certain non-orientable surface, as a two-dimensional topological space with no distinction between the “inside” and “outside” surfaces. The Klein bottle was first described in 1882 by the German mathematician Felix Klein. It is closely related to the Möbius strip and embeddings of the real projective plane such as Boy’s Surface. The initial name given was “Klein Fläche” (Fläche = Surface); however, this was wrongfully interpreted as “Klein Flasche” (Flasche = bottle), which ultimately, due to the dominance of the English language in science, led to the adoption of this term in the German language, too. Picture a bottle with a hole in the bottom. Now extend the neck. Curve the neck back on itself, insert it through the side of the bottle without touching the surface (an act which is impossible in three-dimensional space), and extend the neck down inside the bottle until it joins the hole in the bottom. A true Klein bottle in four dimensions does not intersect itself where it crosses the side. Unlike a drinking glass, this object has no “rim” where the surface stops abruptly. Unlike a balloon, a fly can go from the outside to the inside without passing through the surface; so, there isn’t really an “outside” and “inside”. [Wikipedia]

4] Garden of Eden (Edgar Cayce) [Taken from Reading 364-13] (Q) Describe the earth’s surface at the period of the appearance of the five projections. (A) This has been given. In the first, or that known as the beginning, or in the Caucasian and Carpathian, or the Garden of Eden, in that land which lies now much in the desert, yet much in mountain and much in the rolling lands there. The extreme northern portions were then the southern portions, or the polar-regions were then turned to where they occupied more of the tropical and semi-tropical regions; hence it would be hard to discern or disseminate the change. The Nile entered into the Atlantic Ocean. What is now the Sahara was an inhabited land and very fertile. What is now the central portion of this country, or the Mississippi basin, was then all in the ocean; only the plateau was existent, or the regions that are now portions of Nevada, Utah and Arizona formed the greater part of what we know as the United States. That along the Atlantic board formed the outer portion then, or the lowlands of Atlantis. The Andean, or the Pacific coast of South America, occupied then the extreme western portion of Lemuria. The Urals and the northern regions of same were turned into a tropical land. The desert in the Mongolian land was then the fertile portion. This may enable you to form SOME concept of the status of the earth’s representations at that time! The oceans were then turned about; they no longer bear their names, yet how did they obtain their names? What is the legend, even, as to their names?

5] As Above, So Below: The concept was first laid out in The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus (the Egyptian god know as Dejhuti, or Hermes Thoth to the Greeks), in the words “That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above, corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing.In accordance with the various levels of reality: physical, mental, and spiritual, this relates that what happens on any level happens on every other. This is however more often used in the sense of the microcosm and the macrocosm. The microcosm is oneself, and the macrocosm is the universe. The macrocosm is as the microcosm, and vice-versa; within each lies the other, and through understanding one (usually the microcosm) you can understand the other. Reincarnation: There are mentions in Hermeticism about ‘reincarnation’. As Hermes states: “O son, how many bodies we have to pass through, how many bands of demons, through how many series of repetitions and cycles of the stars, before we hasten to the One alone?” Manly P. Hall also claims that there is a general acceptance among Hermeticists for constant reincarnation between both sexes, as in some way integral, but not absolutely vital, within Hermeticism.Causation: One tenet of Hermeticism, which may be the sole work of The Kybalion is the tenet of causation. Causation is in a simplified form, simply cause and effect. Each cause has its effect and each effect has its cause. However, when brought up to Kybalion levels, this principle states that there is no such thing as chance, but rather that chance is undiscovered law, organization in the chaos.The argument The Kybalion makes on this issue, is that The All is the Law, and as nothing can be outside of The All, nothing can be outside of the Law. The idea of something happening by chance would be, in their opinion, outside of the Law.
